Akebi Haiba is a protagonist in the Neru: Way of the Martial Artist series.
The twin sister of Jokuro, she is a member of the Kenjutsu Department of Amato High School. Having encountered Neruma Isami after an alleyway confrontation, she tests his martial arts abilities, and takes him to her school.

Akebi is a free-spirited martial artist. She tends to do things her own way, much to the ire of her classmates.
Skills and Abilities[]
Akebi is a master martial artist, able to keep up with Neru and knock him on his back with ease. She is a member of the Sword Department, so she is trained in Kenjutsu.
